Riddells Creek resident Lachlan Milne reported Powercor's handiwork to council in March after contractors obliterated native vegetation groundcover in Sandy Creek Road as part of the power company's bushfire mitigation works. "I'd be looking for Powercor to meet their obligations to implement a plan to reinstate the native vegetation and manage noxious weeds and my expectation would be that this work be done by appropriately qualified bushland regenerators," he said.
