Screening in honour of ONJ

Enjoy some summer loving and nostalgia with Sandy and Danny this Wednesday at the Royal!

Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal will be holding a special screening of the 1978 hit musical, Grease, for one night only this Wednesday evening in honour of the late, great, Olivia Newton-John.

Castlemaine Theatre Royal’s Felicity Cripps said the PG rated classic was a great cinematic experience to be had for all ages!

“TR will turn up the music and invite guests to dress up as their favourite Grease character! There will be door prizes up for grabs for the best dressed,” she said.

“We will donate 10 per cent of all ticket sales to the ONJ Foundation in honour of the beloved Australian singer and actress,” Felicity said.

Experience the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s. Welcome to the singing and dancing world of ‘Grease’, the most successful movie musical of all time.

As wholesome exchange student Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) and a leather-clad Danny (John Travolta) have a summer romance, but will it cross clique lines?

The film will screen at 7.15pm. To get your ticket visit www.theatreroyalcastlemaine.com.au/events/grease-fundraiser-for-onj-cancer-centre
