
Two Sacred Heart College students will represent their school and Victoria at the Australian All Schools Championships in Perth this weekend.
The year nine students, Hailey Stubbs and Sarah Fitzpatrick, competed at the Victorian All Schools Championships at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park earlier this month.
Hailey won the U16 Hammer (45.20m) and Sarah came second in the U16 2000m steeple (7:41.96), and seventh in the U16 800m (2:24.70).
Year seven student Tyler Fynch also qualified to represent the school in the Victorian championships coming sixth in both the U14 1500m (4:30.29) and U14 3000m (9:42.62).
A college spokesperson said the school community was proud of the achievements and looking forward to seeing how Hailey and Sarah performed at the national event.
“We wish them all the very best and congratulate all three students on their brilliant performances,” they said.
The Australian All Schools Championships will be held in Perth from December 8-10.
