Castlemaine District Cricket Association A Grade sides began day one of two-day clashes in round seven action last Saturday.
A Reserve contested one-day matches in round seven. B Grade smashed out one-day matches in round six and C Grade (Under 16) began day one of their two-day clashes in round four.
The Women’s comp enjoyed a week’s rest before they return to the pitch this Friday for round four contests.
Highlights of the round were Mia Mia B Grade batsman Nathan Simms’ 117 with the bat, Muckleford A Reserve batsman Marty Sharples made 112 not out, Castlemaine United A Reserve player Declan Brasher 111, Muckleford A Grade batsman Daniel Peckham 102, and Taradale A Reserve batsman Brock Fletcher 102 not out.
The best of the bowlers were Guildford A Grader Tyson Williams with 4-12, Mia Mia B Grader Joseph Bruce with 4-18 and Harcourt A Grader Jack Archer with 4-31 with the ball. Results were:
