The Mount Alexander East Timor Friendship group, the Friends of Lolotoe, is having its annual fundraiser garden sale on October 18 from 9am to 12 at the Hub garden, behind the Hub building, corner Barker and Templeton Streets, Castlemaine. Enter via Templeton.
The group has been going since 2008, linking with the region of Lolotoe, raising money for food security and education including library facilities. This is their major fundraiser for the year.
Buy garden decor, fabulous tomato, veggie and herb seedlings, native plants and other goodies for the garden.
There will be a raffle including original artwork and locally made wine in the prizes. Have a cuppa and enjoy some delicious homemade cake and support the group’s work in East Timor.
