Town Folk Festival has dropped its second artist announcement and welcomes five more Australian acts to round out its 2026 lineup.
Joining the already stacked bill are buzz-worthy Adelaide band Any Young Mechanic, Geelong’s vintage-folk newcomer Daisy Kilbourne, the hypnotic Gaia Scarf, scene-stealing Melbourne folk rocker Maggie Alley, and Castlemaine’s own new-wave pioneers Tiramisu Misterioso.
The Express caught up with the hilarious crew from local Italian disco and community band Tiramisu Misterioso for a fun-filled photo shoot. They are stoked to be hitting the stage at Boomtown Winery and Bistro as part of a massive 26 acts to feature in the festival.
The band formed less than 12 months ago and has already quickly gathered a cult following of ‘Tiramisuvians’.
With just 500 tickets remaining for the November 21 event, the festival is well on track for another sell-out, which is no surprise given the calibre of international and domestic artists involved.

“I saw Tiramisu Misterioso play their first gig at The Bridge a few months ago and I was immediately hooked! We had to put them on the bill. I’m sure festival goers will love their energy,” he said.
Previously announced performers include New Zealand’s mercurial eccentric Aldous Harding, mid-west folk romantic Kevin Morby (USA), Dutch psych-instrumental outfit YĪN YĪN, UK duo Flyte, slow-core New York storyteller Allegra Krieger, as well as much-loved Australian acts Folk Bitch Trio, Docker River Band, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Way Dynamic, Romy Vager, Nat Pavlovic and more.
Now in its sixth year, Town Folk is a beloved musical choose-your-own-adventure, offering punters a wondrous new discovery or folk-leaning favourite at every turn.
Official festival venues The Bridge Hotel, Shedshaker Taproom, and Boomtown Winery provide a goldfield of surprises, while the lush Sunken Oval is the perfect setting for all to gather, eat, drink and sway to the headline bands.
Town Folk Festival is supported by the federal government through Live Music Australia, Visit Victoria and Mount Alexander Shire Council.
