Kyneton Football Netball Club celebrated a successful 2026 season at its annual Presentation Night, with players, volunteers and supporters recognised for their contributions to the Tigers.
The event was held at major sponsor Kyneton Bowling Club, with representatives from the club’s sponsors helping present awards throughout the evening.
Leanne from Kyneton Bowling Club, Sam from Kilcoy Global Foods, and Trav and Jodi from Prendergast Earthmoving joined the celebrations, while Hayden Evans took on MC duties.
Danielle Bourke was named Club Person of the Year, while Brad Ryan was awarded Life Membership in recognition of his contribution to the club.
The night also saw the presentation of team awards across football and netball.
In A Grade netball, Matilda Candy claimed the Best and Fairest award, with Kristiana Manu’a runner-up and Hayley Bourke receiving the Tiger Spirit award.
Grace Tremayne was named B Grade’s Best and Fairest, while Michelle Fletcher was runner-up and Poppy Mills received the Tiger Spirit award.
Rosalie Gent took out C Grade’s Best and Fairest, with Amelia Gunther runner-up and Molly Collins named Tiger Spirit.
Tayla Durham was D Grade’s Best and Fairest, followed by Danielle Bourke as runner-up and Karly Shea as Tiger Spirit.
In Under 19 netball, Bethany Harris claimed the Best and Fairest, Jazmine Young was runner-up and Lucy Foster received the Tiger Spirit award.
Hamish Yunghanns was named Senior football’s Best and Fairest, with Caleb Fisher runner-up and Jacob Grinter receiving the Tiger Spirit award.
Jacob Poyser claimed the Reserves Best and Fairest, while Brandon Sliwczynski and Zac Ryan shared runner-up honours. Oscar Twaits was named Tiger Spirit.
Hagan Freeman was the U19.5 football Best and Fairest, with Bailey Jeffrey runner-up and Matt Black receiving the Tiger Spirit award.
In FIDA football, Zac Mills claimed the Best and Fairest, Ebony Penny was runner-up and Wilara Dingo received the Tiger Spirit award.
The club also acknowledged Dan and John Flynn for their ongoing contribution through the Flynn Medals, presented in memory of their late brother, Tim.
The medals recognise the Senior football and A Grade netball best and fairest players.
Dan Flynn delivered the 2027 medals to club president Julie Priestley during the week, confirming the coming season will mark 25 years of the Flynn family’s connection with KFNC.
It will also be the final year the Flynn Medal is awarded, giving the 2027 Senior football and A Grade netball players one last opportunity to claim the honour.
With the 2026 season now complete, the Tigers have turned their attention to building on their achievements and preparing for the 2027 campaign.
