In response to the article Midland Express on April 9, regarding a new apprentice at Powercor, pity they don’t treat their customers with such respect.
Last August Powercor contractors pruned the trees along my front boundary and left the mess there for five weeks. An email from me resulted in the mess being mulched and left there for a length of about 100 metres.
Three emails and five phone calls resulted in no action.
The staff at Mary-Anne Thomas MP’s office put me onto the Energy and Water Ombudsman. One email to them and problem sorted. From start to finish that would be five months.
Good luck with the job at Powercor.
