The Riddell District Football Netball League has cancelled all senior football and netball matches for the 2020 season due to the impacts of COVID-19.
In a statement made last night, the RDFNL’s Jordon Doyle wrote: “Please note that the RDFNL Board after speaking with our senior club presidents has tonight decided to cancel the RDFNL senior competitions for 2020. The RDFNL wants to thank the clubs for their continued support and patience through this very difficult season.
“The RDFNL has not made a decision on the RDFNL junior competitions, the board will meet with the junior clubs on Monday night and a decision will be made from there.
“We look forward to working with our senior clubs and all other stakeholders as we now look towards 2021.”
