Mullets, flannies and air guitars will be rocked for Kyneton Primary’s ‘Bogan Bingo’ fundraiser.
Locals are encouraged to “get in touch with their inner bogan” for a night of fun while helping the school’s Parents and Friends group reach a $20,000 target to purchase much-needed shade sails for the playground.
Parents and Friends president Matt Wallace said Bogan Bingo was the group’s major fundraiser and a fun way to end the school year.
“Our Bogan Bingo night is about having fun and having a laugh, and it’s all in support of projects at the school,” he said.
“The school is at a new site and it’s going to be a long time before trees are properly established; so creating shade for the school grounds is a priority.”
The adults-only night will include a raffle, auction, prizes, air guitar, and, of course, bogan bingo. Participants are encouraged to bring their own drink and food.
The fundraiser will be held at the Kyneton Primary School on Saturday October 19 from 7.30pm. Kyneton Ride Share is a major sponsor of the event.
Tickets are $35 or $30 (early bird) and can be purchased at the school office or online: www.trybooking.com/BFCAN
