An inaugural Wesley Hill Young Makers Market aims to create a platform for young people in Mount Alexander Shire’s vibrant artistic and creative community.
The program, supported by Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Quick Response Youth Grants, will form part of the Wesley Hill Market from 9am to 1pm on Saturday May 31.
In keeping with its roots, the program is a fantastic opportunity for young people in the shire to step out of their comfort zone and develop key life skills is a supportive environment.
Young people aged 10-25 are invited to register. Stalls are free, with marquee hire just $5, and the Wesley Hill Hall Committee able to supply stall furniture if necessary.
The only rule is that you have to have made, or at least adapted, what you’re selling!
If you’re keen to try your hand at running a stall, have a unique talent to share, just want to get out in the community, or know a young person who does, reach out to jade.bujeya@wesleyhill.au or visit the Wesley Hill Hall website to register wesleyhill.au/hall/young-makers-market
