Free lunch – no strings attached

Pipers Creek Landcare Group members at the recent Kyneton Rotary Market.

Pipers Creek Landcare Group members want to dispel the myth that “there is no such thing as a free lunch” by inviting members and friends to their AGM for a free pizza lunch, a free native tree to take home and free real estate advice from a highly credentialed guest speaker.

Following the successful native plant sale and gorse control stall at the recent Kyneton Rotary Market, Pipers Creek Landcare wants to round off the year with a friendly, sociable AGM and lunch at the Kyneton Men’s Shed on June 21.

Well-known local Ray White Real Estate director, Nathanial Briggs, will be on hand to discuss ‘Presenting Rural and Rural Residential property for sale’, reflect on the current Kyneton property market and what buyers are looking for and how best to secure a deal.

Locally sourced native tree and understory tube stock will be available free to members on a first come-first served basis along with practical advice on native plantation establishment.

Victorian Gorse Taskforce member Peter Sporle will be on hand to advise on the latest in gorse control. VGT ‘show bags’ containing a Cut’N’Paint chemical dabber will also be available, free.

Members and friends should register for catering purposes at piperscreeklandcare@gmail.com before June 19 or phone 0448 401 372.
