The Malmsbury Town Hall is hosting an open day this Sunday for people to view its recent renovations.
The hall is now fully electric and no longer depends on portable gas. It also benefits from numerous cosmetic works and a new projector and screen.
Committee works have included installation of a split system under the stage, erection of an external security cage and disconnection of the previous gas heating system.
Macedon Ranges Shire Council works include drying and drainage of the underfloor area, new guttering and downpipes, repairing and refinishing lintels at the front of the hall, painting works and replacement of gas appliances with electric.
The works have been carried out with attention to heritage needs.
Malmsbury Town Hall open day will be held on Sunday, August 10, from 2pm to 4pm.
