Historian and author Professor Janet McCalman AC, will be the guest speaker at Kyneton U3A this Friday, September 19.
Janet McCalman is known for her award-winning books – Struggletown, Journeyings and Sex and Suffering.
For more than 20 years, she taught and researched interdisciplinary history at the University of Melbourne. In 2018 she was made a Companion of the Order of Australia.
This presentation will be drawn from Janet’s history, Vandemonians – the repressed history of colonial Victoria.
