Now eight years old and grown in stature, Kyneton Music Festival will hit the town on October 25-26.
A huge lineup for this year’s festival has just been announced with Ali Barter, Stonefield, Jade Imagine, The Putbacks, Hobsons Bay Coast Guard, Martin Frawley, Black Cab, Glitoris, Buried Feather, Ben Salter, Ryan Downey, Cry Club, Quivers, Murmurmur, Cool Sounds, Pleasure Coma, Rosa Maria, Matthew Colin and Ross McLennan and the New World all set to smash out loving lyrics and musical moments.
Festival instigator and organiser, Kyneton’s own Rob Jones, said he most enjoyed the evening moments when the big names came out and this year was looking forward to two of his favourites, Ali Barter and Stonefield performing.
The festival will be at three venues – St Paul’s Park off Piper Street, the music and bar venue Major Tom’s and at the town’s renowned Bluestone Theatre.
Ross McLennan and the New World, Glitoris, Cry Club and Black Cab will take to the Bluestone Theatre stage on Friday night.
On Saturday, St Paul’s Park will host the main stage, alongside Major Tom’s next door, with local and national artists performing from midday into the evening.
Saturday’s lineup will feature Ali Barter, Stonefield, Jade Imagine, The Putbacks, Hobsons Bay Coast Guard, Martin Frawley, Buried Feather, Ben Salter, Ryan Downey, Quivers, Murmurmur, Cool Sounds, Pleasure Coma, Rosa Maria, and Matthew Colin.
