The Newstead Arts Hub is re-emerging from lockdown with a new look, a very special exhibition and a relaunch celebration event this Sunday.
The Hub, which has been closed during lockdown, is a community creative space in a converted railway station that hosts exhibitions, events and workshops.
The Hub has just launched new branding and website, designed by Newstead-based graphic designer Vincent Casey who also designed the branding for The Bridge Hotel, Newstead Live and This Little Piggy.
To celebrate the relaunch, the Hub will be having an outdoor community event this Sunday November 29 from 2pm-5pm.
There will be refreshments, music and great company, and you will get an exclusive sneak peek of the Hub’s upcoming exhibition: a retrospective of botanist and artist John S. Turner.
The Hub is also running a ‘friendship drive’ to kick-start their recovery from lockdown and build their list of wonderful supporters. To be a Friend in 2021, it’s a donation of $15, or free for Friends under 18.
Visit www.newsteadartshub.org to register to attend and find out more about the Friends program. Registrations are limited due to COVID restrictions.
