The first major event for the 2022 Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival is the colourful light show ‘Light up Kyneton’ on the Kyneton Mechanics Institute on Friday April 8 from 7pm.
This date provides a great opportunity after the end of daylight savings for the light show and will give the families of the children of Kyneton Primary, who helped to create the light show’s artwork last year, the opportunity to seeing their work and enjoy the great spectacle with the whole community.
There will be music from the Vintage Blues Machine duo and tables in the Mechanics Reserve for people to take in the light show and ambience, all in a COVID safe environment.
Look for special guest appearances by ‘The Gardeners’. These hobbit-like otherworldly creatures were designed by local puppeteers and will be handing out gifts of joy and positivity to the crowd.
Held it at the time of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival, the event is being supported by that series of events.
