Call catches burglar

Gisborne and Kyneton police responded to a '000' call regarding a male acting suspicious in High Street, Woodend, early Monday morning.

Police response to a Triple Zero call in Woodend recovered a series of stolen items on Monday.
Gisborne and Kyneton police responded to reports of a male acting suspiciously in High Street about 3.30am.
Upon arrival a 30-year-old male from St Kilda was arrested for breaching his bail conditions.
The male was searched and located in his possession were stolen items from a recent burglary in the town.
He has since been charged with burglary, theft and breaching his bail conditions.
He appeared at the Kyneton Magistrates Court later that day whereby he was further remanded in custody.
