Mount Alexander Shire Council’s third annual COscars Youth Film Festival will take place in Castlemaine’s Village Square on April 8.
Headlined by the family adventure hit, Big Hero 6, the festival will also feature short films made by local young people from 6.30pm.
Council Youth Advisory Group member Lucia Amati says they’d like to invite everyone to come and join them at this free, family-friendly event and help to celebrate our local young filmmakers.
“Bring your own chair and picnic dinner, or buy some yummy food at the event. There will be Pizza de Wheels, Icecream Social and, of course, popcorn!” Lucia says.
