Braemar College students have generously put together individual hampers for each and every resident at Bupa Aged Care in Woodend.
They donated the items themselves, put together the hampers and wrote personal cards, before dropping them off at Bupa where they were distributed by the centre’s Lifestyle team.
Bupa lifestyle and wellbeing coordinator, Lauren Monaghan, said the residents (and staff) were so overwhelmed and thankful for their generosity, some were moved to tears.
“It absolutely made their day and we feel very blessed to have such wonderful, thoughtful students in our community, put something so special together for our residents,” Ms Monaghan said.
