Buttlejorrk’s 46th exhibition

The Buttlejorrk Annual Group Exhibition is on display until December 5 at The Old Auction House in Kyneton.

Buttlejorrk’s annual art exhibition is a celebration of creativity, friendship and lifelong learning.

What began in 1976 as a group of potters wishing to share their knowledge and hold joint exhibitions, like some of the founding members who are still active, has just got better with age!

While many members still focus on ceramics, the group has diversified over the years and now includes many artforms as members expanded their interests and new members joined.

This year they welcomed two new members: Samantha Gardiner, an artist who creates expressive mixed-media paintings, and David Bowden, a metal sculptor who creates imaginative works from recycled materials.

The exhibition includes 12 current members who are looking forward to showing their work and celebrating the supportive creative community of the Macedon Ranges with their extensive range of art including painting, sculpture, jewellery, textiles metalwork and woodwork.

All work is for sale and this is an ideal opportunity to purchase a unique, locally handmade piece of art for yourself or someone special this Christmas.
