Journey to Slumber Land

The best night’s sleep in ages.

“That’s common feedback after a group sound bath or private sound healing session,” says Nat Dowling from Wander into Wildness.

“It’s like the experience gives the body permission or a reminder on how to relax, surrender and release tension.”

The local sound healing practitioner explains that people experience deep rest during the session itself, and those benefits generally continue as systems recalibrate.

“When you’re well slept, those life stresses might still be there in the morning, but you’ve got more juice in the tank to navigate your way through.”

Nat is offering a four-week Sleep Soundly series in Castlemaine to support locals to relax and restore.

Each week the small group will be guided by a specific instrument – drums, gong, voice or singing bowls.

Participants will also learn about what’s happening in the body during sound healing, and receive tips on how to use sound for nourishment in daily life.

The Sleep Soundly Series is $145 and begins on Tuesday March 14, 7.30pm.
