Kyneton High School students are seeking stallholders and contributions for their upcoming Twilight Market and Show n Shine fundraiser.
The event will be held at the school grounds on October 11 from 5pm to 8pm with a variety of food vendors/stalls, general stalls, live music, entertainment, sausage sizzle, and, of course, vehicles for the show and shine.
Students aim to attract 1000 market-goers with a target of 50 stalls and 50 vehicles. They are also currently approaching local businesses to contribute to a silent auction and raffle.
The event returns following the success of 2022’s fundraiser, which raised just over $6000 for the school’s VCAL program.
Just like then, students have been involved with planning this year’s event every step of the way including set-up, promotion and marketing, organisation and seeking donations.
This year, the team behind the scenes is the year 12 VCE-VM (formerly VCAL) Personal Development Skills class.
