The Theatre Royal Castlemaine is hosting a very special tribute night to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the world-famous Buena Vista Social Club movie.
An unforgettable performance of traditional Cuban music with a Sydney-based 11-piece band comprised of some of Australia’s best Latin music musicians.
Following sell out nights in Sydney and Melbourne, this special concert will feature well-known songs from Buena Vista Social Club by artists Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez, Omara Portuondo and Eliades Ochoa.
This will be a memorable experience paying tribute to some of the legends of timeless Cuban music, recreating the enchanting atmosphere of Havana’s Buena Vista Social Club.
