High Street Lancefield is home to the town’s monthly farmers market, offering an inviting setting along the historic Centre Plantation to shop, indulge and enjoy local performers.

Children are invited to a free face-paint from Pass-the-Parcel every month, courtesy of the Lancefield Neighbourhood House. The market this Saturday features a great diversity of produce and unique products from 85 local and regional producers.

Highlights this month include; Piper Street Food Co – returning to the market with their award-winning pies (take home and heat), Landscape Hill Garlic – grown in Tallarook, Jingliberry Farm – alpaca fleece, wool and knits produced in Broadford, Double Oaks Estate – fresh truffles grown in Lancefield.

Market day offers a range of foods originating from across the world including; Greek, Cantonese, French, Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Sri Lankan, Scottish and Aussie!

Those seeking a warm place to rejuvenate following their shop can explore the local cafes and restaurants that offer take-away and sit-down meals.

This market is an initiative of the Lancefield Neighbourhood House and has been proudly trading for 22 years, offering a vital place of commerce to local producers.
