LOCALS encore screening Saturday

CDoc's encore screening of LOCALS will feature all 18 short films submitted for this year's festival.

What do crossing guards, compost bins and co-housing have in common? They all feature in the upcoming Castlemaine Documentary Festival’s LOCALS encore screening — a joyful jumble of short films made by local legends.

After a sold-out first screening, LOCALS is back at the Theatre Royal for round two this Saturday July 26. This special encore includes all 18 short films submitted to screen at this year’s Castlemaine Documentary Festival, celebrating the humour, heart and creativity bubbling up in our own backyard.

From chicken coops and sacred icons to heartfelt tributes and experimental gems, it’s a chance to see our community on the big screen in all its unexpected, creative and heartfelt glory.
