In a beverage market saturated with sugary, often artificial, hard lemon drinks, a new contender has emerged with a refreshing difference — Wildpoint Hard Lemon.
A product of Harcourt, Wildpoint is a 100 per cent Australian owned and made brand with a clear vision to deliver a natural, locally made alternative for today’s discerning drinkers.
The spark for Wildpoint came from Kye Livingstone, a Harcourt local with deep roots in the wine industry through Harcourt Valley Winery.
Identifying a gap in the market, Kye teamed up with Beau Cook — best known for his time on MasterChef Australia — whose flavour knowledge and public profile brought the idea to life.
Together with Quinn Livingstone, Kye’s brother and the mastermind behind Wildpoint’s innovative brewing process, and Brent Clayton, with business and marketing expertise, Wildpoint was born.
More than just friends, they’re locals with a shared passion and a hands-on approach to creating something they truly believe in.
The result is Wildpoint Hard Lemon eight per cent, that refuses to cut corners. There’s no base alcohol, no imported juice from concentrate, no artificial colours or flavours.
Instead, Wildpoint uses 15 per cent fresh Australian lemon juice from the Sunraysia region, is naturally fermented, and remains low in sugar — a bold, clean, citrus-forward drink reported to “taste like summer in a can”.
Beau has played a critical role in shaping Wildpoint’s flavour profile.
“We didn’t want it to taste fake or overly sweet,” he said.
“It had to be bright, natural and refreshing — something you could enjoy more than one of.”
From hands-on tastings at the winery to finessing the final blend, the team has crafted a drink with depth, balance and a grown-up twist on a nostalgic classic.
Drinkers are embracing its authentic flavour and clean ingredients, seeing it as a refreshing alternative.
“We want Wildpoint to be the go-to for anyone who loves hard lemon but wants something cleaner, more considered,” Kye said.
“It’s made here, owned here and created with care. We think Australians are ready for that.”
Wildpoint recently hit a major milestone: it’s now available through Dan Murphy’s online store, and independent liquor stores.
