Locals are invited toget behind the spread of 85 local and regional producers at a special Lancefield and District Farmers Market this Saturday, celebrating 23 years of trading along the historic High Street centre plantation.

What started as a fledgling 23-stall array of producers has become a ‘real deal’ each month and offers space to a diverse range of local producers who all rely on this vital trading space as a part of their sustainable business model.

You will find fresh produce – often organically produced; meats and seafoods – often regeneratively produced or organic; award-winning cool climate wines; cheese and dairy of great distinction; sourdough bread and treats of a wide array of styles; show-winning preserves and condiments; delicious iced treats; healthy beverages; pet treats; honey/beeswax from the local area; unique wholefoods creations; care items for body and home; traditional sweets and global street foods; live heritage poultry, native plants, seedlings, heritage fruit trees, stockfeed, fresh-cut flowers, chocolate and more.

The market features great local musicians each month including The Sunset Singers. Free facepaint is offered by Pass the Parcel courtesy of the Lancefield Neighbourhood House. Friendly dogs welcome on a leash and don’t forget to BYO bags.
