Market day in Lancefield on Saturday offers locals and tourists alike the opportunity to source fresh produce, staples, pantry items, plants, pet treats and livestock feed all along the historic Centre Plantation of High Street.
A whopping 85 local and regional producers will be in attendance trading their labours of love, direct to the community. Shoppers are encouraged to pack plenty of bags as the diversity of the market is high.
Held at the same time just across the road is the Little Treasures Indoor Market, a dedicated market for artisan craftspeople as well. The market runs from 9am to 1pm and welcomes friendly dogs on a leash. Free facepainting for children is provided by Pass-the-Parcel facepaint crew. Live music in the lunch area from the Sunset Singers.
