Golden Wellness Festival is an immersive celebration of holistic health, taking place in Castlemaine on Saturday October 31.

The one-day festival will offer workshops, movement classes, ceremonies, creative sessions and insightful panel conversations, bringing together a plethora of wellness practitioners and alchemic explorers.

Explore and restore with yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, sound healing, homeopathy, massages, art therapy, plant medicine and more.

Entry to the festival is free, with a small number of ticketed workshops and group sessions in The Temples.

“We have an amazing program on offer for our first year,” said festival founder and director Ciel Lindley.

“We’re over the moon to host Alex Perry in conversation with Mara Ripani and Yoko Nakazawa for Cooking from Scratch. They’ll be discussing nourishment for the body, grounding for the mind, and a sense of connection for the spirit.

“Sound Circle with Lucy Ennis will be an immersive sound healing experience, creating a deeply restorative space of rest, reconnection and nervous system regulation.

“Relax a drift to the beautiful sounds of the Handpan played by Melbourne healer Stephanie Mansour.

“Crossing the Inner Thresholds – Ayurvedic Wisdom for the Maiden, Mother and Matriarch Within with Marye O’Brien will hold space for women to navigate sacred transitions.

“We’re particularly excited for our Closing Ceremony Kirtan with Sun Hyland, Amla, Andre Macky, Sarah Hines and Gavin Simpson. Sun will lead live music and call and response chanting, inviting dancing, reflection and celebration.

“This uplifting celebration invites us to dance, reflect and celebrate the warmth of our collective energy.

“Golden Wellness Festival will be a transformative day that will leave you feeling connected, elevated and inspired.”
