Brian Clarke’s thinly veiled climate denialist letter will fool very few (‘Courage and intelligence’, Opinions, July 24) .
I have never found people ‘unnerved and disturbed’ by discussion of climate change, quite the opposite.
Maybe the eerie silence that he describes is the embarrassment people feel at trying to contend with the outdated views of conservative zealots.
Furthermore Ian Plimer’s views are laughable in the face of approximately 95 per cent of reputable climate experts.
