Re. ‘Track death trap’ (Express, July 31). I travelled on the 8.25am V/Line train last Friday and also witnessed a commuter making a dash for the train.
The train was four minutes late so she would have missed it if it was on time.
At no time was it V/Line’s fault.
It is the commuter’s responsibility to be at the station and on the platform ready for the train.
People need to take responsibility for their own actions.
