Mount Alexander Shire Council has voted unanimously to support the Castlemaine Hot Rod Centre Limited and Workspace in their quest to secure the Etty Street Campus that has been mostly vacated by the secondary college. This is one of the greatest decisions the councillors have made in the recent past.
This will enable both Castlemaine Hot Rod Centre Limited and Workspace, both not-for-profit organisations, to establish a facility that will allow both organisations to grow.
They will share this facility, each organisation to have their own areas but also work together in others.
The community overall will benefit greatly from this venture given that there will be rooms and space available for community groups for a variety of uses. Any groups that may be interested are encouraged to email Larry O’Toole on info@graffitipub.com.au
