Your feature last week about the endless challenges in life that she overcame is a great example to others who might feel discouraged in achieving seemingly unattainable goals.
She was a new doctor on call at Kyneton Hospital when I presented her with a dislocated thumb with three fractures from a Mountain Biking fall late on a Saturday night.
She handled my little trauma as a true professional in a no-fuss manner about which I was mighty grateful.
I congratulate her on her grit and her medical skill.
