Laurie Marshall…This is your cricket life

Malmsbury Cricket Club will honour stalwart and legend Laurie ‘Frizza’ Marshall on April 6 when a celebration of his amazing 70 years in cricket will be held.
A Life Member of Malmsbury, Kyneton and the Castlemaine District Cricket Association, Frizza has achieved much in his long and decorated career.
Frizza has been curator of the turf wickets ever since they were laid at the MCG, a long time committeeman and past president of Malmsbury, and has been honored for his long service by Cricket Victoria.
A testimonial dinner will be held at the Malmsbury Town Hall on Saturday April 6 beginning at 6pm. There will be a three course meal, BYO drinks, and live music at a cost of just $45 a head.
The night will be a great opportunity to spend time reminiscing about seasons past, or just catching up with friends from Malmsbury, Kyneton and CDCA clubs.
Proceeds from the night will go towards a new shed which of course will be known as Frizza’s shed and will house the rollers and all his equipment.
