A Kyneton fours team representing Central Highlands won the regional fours final at Buninyong on Sunday.
Peter Cameron, Richard Buckley, Peter Ryan and Andy MacDonald (s) trailed their Dunnolly opposition until the 15th end, when they secured six shots, eventually winning 19-17.
Bev Holmes (Lancefield) beat Jan Turner 25-11 in the Champ of Champs, before going down 25-18 to Ballarat’s Sandy Grano in the final.
Graham Edwards (Kyneton Golf) went down to eventual winner Greg Brown in the knockout match, and the Diggers Rest fours side could not make up an early deficit to go down 15-20 to an experienced Goldfields women’s side.
