Sandhurst and Gisborne were the dominant clubs in the Bendigo Football Netball League’s grand finals played on Saturday.
In A-grade, Sandhurst was far too strong for Kangaroo Flat, with a 48-33 margin. Kangaroo Flat reached the grand final with a 52-49 victory over Gisborne.
Gisborne’s two premierships came in the 17&Under and A-Reserve grand finals.
The young Gisborne side has been superb and justified its favouritism with a 44-34 victory over Kangaroo Flat.
Gisborne’s other flag came in A-Reserve grade. In a low-scoring match, Gisborne prevailed 29-27.
The closest match of the day was in B-Reserve, where Sandhurst toppled Gisborne 48-46 after scores were level at full-time.
In B-grade, Sandhurst made it three flags for the day with a 37-35 win over South Bendigo.
