MTB come and try day

Castlemaine Rocky Riders club is holding a come and try ride on Sunday.

Castlemaine Rocky Riders Mountain Bike Club is holding a come and try ride on Sunday.

A come and try event is a great way to get a taste for off-road bike riding or to try out a new biking discipline.

The event will also provide an opportunity to learn about the variety of local trails and club events in your area, meet fellow mountain bike enthusiasts and get some tips on equipment and apparel.

To ensure that everyone is appropriately covered by riding insurance, the club can help participants access a trial or monthly membership.

On Sunday the ride will begin at 9am from the carpark at the corner of Daws Road and Dalton Road in Castlemaine (just up the hill from the pony club grounds).

Different categories of riding will be offered on the day catering for junior riders with parents/carers/family ride.

This ride is suitable for balance bikes but not for bikes with training wheels.

All rides will accommodate beginner mountain bike riders. All riders must be self-sufficient with food, water and spares.

You must have a well-maintained mountain bike and well-fitted helmet that meets Australian standards. To register for the come and try day with a free ticket, visit the club site on TidyHQ: crr-mtb-vic.tidyhq.com
