A culmination of nine months of hard work from the entire Kyneton Basketball Association committee comes together as KBA celebrates its debut into the VJBL competition for season 22/23.
Kicking off this Friday, November 18, two of the association’s eight teams have home games down at Kyneton Sports and Aquatic Centre from 8pm.
“As a community driven association, we are very appreciative of the continued support we receive from local businesses within the area,” KBA president Luke Dietz said.
“Their support allows KBA to invest in coaching courses and uniform replenishment for our domestic teams as examples.
“KBA has been lucky enough to have a number of long-term sponsors that have supported for many years, acknowledging Hendersons the Gas People, Eve-trans, and Young Engineers.
“We also welcome The Milko as a new sponsor to the association.
“With thanks to all, KBA is super excited to announce that Macedon Ranges Ag Machinery has continued on as major sponsor for another two years.”
Macedon Ranges Ag Machinery proprietors, Alex and Trav Young, are locals and took over the business in Piper Street just over 18 months ago.
“Our son Fletch has grown up playing for KBA, we are in a position to be able to support a grassroots association and are very happy to align ourselves with KBA,” Alex said.
Luke said KBA would love to get as many people from the community down to support their teams with home games.
“Follow our KBA Facebook page to keep across the fixture. It’s exciting times at KBA,” he said.
