Woodend-Hesket coach Josh Pound (at left) and Riddell’s reigning premiership coach Justin Bellville will have their sides geared up for highly competitive performances on Good Friday.
It’s a feast of football and netball at Gilbert Gordon Oval from 10am onwards.
Both sides have some well credentialed recruits keen to prove their worth.
The drawcard Woodend-Hesket versus Riddell encounter is the only Riddell League match this weekend.
Woodend-Hesket’s A-grade netballers reached the grand final last season, and are aiming to go one better in 2023.
Riddell netballers have some talented players as well, and both clubs will be hoping for good weather conditions on Friday.
