Talented Gisborne footballer Ruby Watts made her AFLW debut with Carlton on Saturday.
A large contingent of Ruby’s family, friends and teammates were present to wish her well at the match between the Essendon and Carlton women’s sides at the NEC Hangar venue.
Named on the interchange bench, Ruby was thrilled to take the field wearing No. 35 and be on the winning side as Carlton dominated to score 10.8 (68) to 2.2 (14).
