Gisborne-Kyneton United put on an absolute clinic last Saturday, steamrolling East Sunbury with an incredible 23-goal performance — featuring 10 individual goal scorers. Their midfield continued to impress, showcasing a seamless blend of both teams’ top talents who worked beautifully together to deliver into the forward line.
Todorovic, Ainslie, Macumber and Hateley were among GKU’s best on the day, while sharpshooters Cole and Cowan combined for a staggering nine goals between them, sending a clear message to the rest of the EDFL Division 2 competition.
This weekend, GKU faces a real test against ladder-leaders Taylors Lakes — a match up that’s sure to be a tough battle.
