The NCNR squads will come up against teams from 14 other regions across the state and play for the chance to take out the Grand Final.
The elite competition also presents a chance for local netballers to be talent identified.
These athletes participated in tryouts in October, the initial group was then cut down to squads before the final teams were selected.
The NCNR teams have been training hard since November making sure they are ready to do the region proud.
This will be the third year NCNR has fielded an Open side after several years in recess, and the fourth year they have submitted an all-male team.
NCNR is very excited to show the other regions, especially the metro teams, what county folk are made of.
The squad thanks their sponsors Breach Apparel, Sixt Car Rental and Echuca Workers Club for their support.
To follow their progress in this weekend’s competition, follow the CDNA or North Central Netball Region on Facebook. There will also be a link to watch the sides live.
