Art with heart

St Mary's Primary School students are proudly pictured with their artworks that will feature in waiting areas at Castlemaine Health.

Grade three/four students at St Mary’s Primary School Castlemaine have been working on an art collaboration with Castlemaine Health this term.

The students have worked enthusiastically over recent weeks to plan, design and create these bright and inspiring artworks that will be displayed within the hospital waiting areas. They are sure to brighten up the day for visitors and patients alike.

St Mary’s deputy principal and teacher Amanda Thomas said it was a wonderful project.

“Well done to the students for working so thoughtfully on this project for their local community,” she said.

“It has been a great experience to be a part of. We thank the hospital for the opportunity and hope the artworks brighten the day of community members for many years to come,” she said.
