The Sainter
Celebrations were off the charts for the anniversary of the formation of Trentham Football Club 130 years ago, and also the 1992 senior and reserves premiership 30-year reunion.
After the final home and away round six of Trentham’s 10 football and netball teams have made the finals. Good luck to all involved.
On Thursday night former Collingwood premiership captain Nick Maxwell attended training and spoke to junior and senior groups in preparation for their finals campaigns.
Tremendous images from the occasion are are on social media.
Having been an exceptionally challenging year for the club, all the organisers, club committee and helpers should be proud of themselves for outstanding achievements overall.
A big ‘high five’ to those who have been an official, umpire, scorer, timekeeper, gate keeper, kitchen hand, cleaner, bar tender, coordinator, team manager, photographer, sportswriter etc etc. The list goes on.
Thanks to all for making the club the greatest there is!
