Thank you for promoting my Invictus Games fundraising in the Midland Express.
The amount raised was sufficient to purchase one wheelchair and half the cost of another. All funds raised were from the Macedon Ranges community – a great effort by generous citizens and businesses.
For those planning to visit the Games, keep an eye out during the wheelchair tennis and rugby events for a wheelchair marked ‘Macedon Tribute’ and feel proud that it was totally funded from within your community.
The Invictus Games will be held at Sydney Olympic Park and other locations across Greater Sydney, from October 20-27.
