Kyneton District Soccer Club is getting ready for its biggest season yet and is inviting the whole community to go along to its 2026 Season Launch and Club Open Day.
The free event will be held on Saturday February 7 from 11am to 2pm at Barkly Square, Kyneton, and everyone is welcome – whether you’re already part of the club, thinking about playing this year, or just keen to check it out.
After a huge 2025 season with more than 400 players, the club is expecting even more players in 2026.
The Open Day is a great chance for current and new players to get all the details for the season ahead, including pre-season training times, registration information, uniform orders and key dates. Players are encouraged to register early, as teams are expected to fill quickly.
There’ll be plenty happening on the day to keep the whole family entertained. Enjoy a free sausage sizzle, face painting, take on the soccer inflatables (including a fun ‘run the gauntlet’ obstacle course), have a crack at the penalty shootout competition, and jump into games and activities running throughout the day. Players will also be able to meet the coaches, catch up with teammates and get excited for the season ahead, with prizes up for grabs along the way.
Club merchandise will be available to buy on the day, and visitors can also meet the club’s sponsors, including Kyneton Shoes, a proud supporter of Kyneton District Soccer Club. Kyneton Shoes will be onsite so players can easily pick up shin guards and get organised for the season.
The club is also keen to hear from any parents or community members who might be interested in coaching junior teams, with plenty of support available.
