Trentham photographer Sandy Scheltema is thrilled to be successful in her Sustaining Creative Workers grant application, part of the Victorian Government’s survival package for the state’s creative sector.
Funding from Creative Victoria and Regional Arts Victoria will help her work on her photographic series ‘Life in The Time of Corona Virus in Central Victoria’.
The work will follow on from her previous series, ‘The Driveway Project’, shot in Trentham, but broaden to include nearby towns.
It will result in a photo documentary series depicting central Victorian people and the way they are dealing with our new way of life during coronavirus, and will help form an important historic record of these unsettling times for our region.
