Inside you’ll find faces, places and events from Kyneton in times past, in images kindly provided by the Kyneton Historical Society.
Society secretary Larina Strauch said her favourite image was featured for the month of June.
“It shows a lively community spirit in a procession through the streets celebrating a visit by the Queen to Victoria in 1954,” she said.
“The little girls with their coats, hats and gloves are picture perfect.”
Previous calendars have proved popular and have become something of a collector’s item.
Ms Strauch said in selecting the 2021 images, the society decided to look at more recent decades with the view that many younger residents would have a connection to those times and newcomers to the community would gain an insight into ‘the way we were’. Part proceeds from calendar sales will go to the society and will also be put aside for Christmas street decorations for the town for next year.
