One Kyneton lottery player has kicked off the working week as a millionaire after scoring division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – they just don’t know it yet.

The Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4193, drawn Saturday September 25 – each pockets $1,303,213.75.

The winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they’re waiting for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at Collins Authorised News & Lotto, 95 Mollison Street, Kyneton. So far in 2021 there have been 12 division one wins in the Central Highlands and Goldfields regions, collectively worth more than $35.31 million.

Collins Authorised News & Lotto owner Kevin Chen said it was a monumental moment for the winner, the team, and the community.

“We were thrilled when we found out late on Saturday night!” he said.

“It’s a big moment for us as it’s our first division one win since I took ownership of the store four years ago.

“We’ve been decorating the store and spreading this good news. It’s so exciting!

“Hopefully the winner comes forward as soon as possible, as this is big news – they’re now a millionaire.

“It’s amazing to know we’ve helped make someone’s lottery dream come true.

“This is a very proud moment for us. We hope other stores and customers experience wins like this too.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsay said she was eager to unite Victoria’s latest division one winner with their prize.

“It’s likely this winner has been going about their day as normal with no idea they won $1 million over the weekend!” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Collins Authorised News & Lotto to check their tickets today.

“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, on the fridge door or in your car glovebox, because the winner could be you!

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 13 18 68 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
